The project entails creating a comprehensive social media listening tool that doesn't rely on APIs, and that doesn't require keywords for search. The approach is mainly a hybrid one, that relies on local users to feed the tool with links, create monitoring lists, and let the tool collect the data.
Key Features:
- Monitoring and data collection from platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Sentiment analysis of posts, comments, and likes/reactions.
- Scraping data from these platforms, mainly comments (with commentor ID), engagement metrics, and follower counts.
- Reporting on engagement metrics, social network analysis, and hot topics of the day.
