Simple point to point protocol with python (using PAP between 2 pc, password authentification protocol) -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Develop programming code with python for a client and a server (2 independent pc, connected through hamachi, one code for the client and other for the server), using password authentication protocol (PAP) and using the format specified by RFC1661.
The client must send a LCP Configure-request, then the server must answer with a configure-ack otherwise send an authenticate-nack. When the connection is stablished, the client and server could exchange messages through chat (ex. messages), and when one of the 2 (client or server) wants to end the connection, this one must send a terminate-request and be accused with a terminate-ack.
The LCP messages must contain dummy information (not considered for the program). When the payload contains information for the flag or the escape character, it must be done a bye-stuffing for the transmitter and bye-unstuffing for the receptor.
The messages that must contain the program, are included in the picture.
I have 2 python files (client and server) using CHAP instead of PAP as a reference (if the can be modified to use the latter, that is perfect).
