Simple GUI application that searches like SQL with local database (Python)

I need a simple program that simplifies my search work. I have an excel spreadsheet that I am looking for a method based on its properties. Therefore I need a GUI in which I enter various values and the application searches for them like an SQL search. It would also be important that I can display or edit the added values of the table within the application. Import / export of an Excel file is also desired.
