Senior Python Developer – DevOps & Cloud Security
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with DevOps expertise to lead the modernization and security transformation of cloud-native applications. You will own the full lifecycle of secret management migration, key encryption updates, and CI/CD integration—blending hands-on development with cloud infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Development Tasks:
• Refactor Python-based AWS Lambda functions to retrieve secrets from AWS Secrets Manager instead of HashiCorp Vault.
• Modify component and live-dependency test suites to work with encrypted input files.
• Encrypt/decrypt test files using new public/private key pairs (VISA/MC).
• Integrate and validate Slack and PagerDuty secret usage in backend services.
DevOps / Cloud Engineering Tasks:
• Update CloudFormation templates using custom resource types (e.g., Custom::C1SecretsManager) to provision secret access.
• Manage secure secret paths and IAM roles/policies for Lambda and CI/CD systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Dockerfiles, automation scripts, and test infrastructure.
• Ensure secure key rotation and encrypted storage compliance in QA/Dev/Prod environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong Python programming skills with AWS Lambda experience.
• Hands-on with AWS Secrets Manager, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of public/private key encryption and secret handling in CI/CD.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, YAML.
• Familiarity with test automation and live-dependency validations.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
