Senior Python Developer Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
building cutting-edge tools for local network solutions. We’re developing an offline, client-free file-sharing system that allows users to transfer photos directly to a Windows PC via Wi-Fi without internet or app installations. Join us to revolutionize how people share files in connectivity-limited environments!
Key Responsibilities
Design and deploy a Python-based web server (Flask) to handle photo uploads via Wi-Fi.
Implement Windows Wi-Fi hotspot management using netsh wlan commands (hosted networks).
Develop a captive portal system for automatic browser redirection (iOS/Android).
Create secure file upload handling with user-specific folders (sanitized names).
Ensure cross-version compatibility (Windows 7/10/11, 32-bit/64-bit).
Build DNS redirection for offline domain resolution (dnsmasq or similar).
Package the system into a Windows service using PyInstaller and NSSM.
Integrate security measures: file type validation, size limits, and input sanitization.
Collaborate on testing across devices (iOS 12+, Android 8+) and Windows architectures.
Required Skills
3+ years of Python development (Flask framework expertise).
Experience with Windows networking (netsh, firewall rules, hosted networks).
Knowledge of HTTP protocols and browser-based file uploads (HTML5 File API).
Proficiency in offline systems (DNS redirection, captive portals).
Familiarity with Windows service management (NSSM, pywin32).
Strong understanding of cross-platform compatibility (32/64-bit, legacy OS support).
Ability to write clean, maintainable code with unit tests (pytest).
