Employment Type: Full-time | Senior Level
About the Role
--------------------------------
We are looking for a Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development and deployment of AI-driven disease risk prediction models as part of a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) used in a hospital environment.
This role focuses on real-world clinical AI, supporting physicians with explainable, safe, and regulatory-compliant risk predictions for:
Sepsis
Diabetes
Cardiac events
AI outputs will assist clinicians and will not replace clinical judgment.
What You’ll Do

Clinical AI Development
Design and deploy risk prediction models using hospital EHR data
Build models for:
Sepsis early warning
Diabetes risk stratification
Cardiac risk prediction
Select and optimize models such as XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost

Key contributing clinical factors
Confidence scores
Reduce false alerts and clinician alert fatigue
Maintain human-in-the-loop decision controls
Healthcare Data & Integration
Work with EHR / HIS data using HL7 & FHIR
Handle real-world clinical data (missing, noisy, time-dependent)
Collaborate with IT, clinical, and data governance teams
Validation & Quality
