I'm seeking a seasoned Python developer with web scraping and API integration experience to review and enhance two of my web scraping scripts. These scripts are designed for data extraction - specifically, business information - from a document and performing Google searches. The scripts combine columns (City/State/Terms or County/State/Terms) using boolean logic to generate search queries, scrape results, and output them to CSV files. Currently, they utilize mock search functions due to certain limitations.
I need these scripts optimized for real Google searches, preferably via an API. Your tasks will include:
- Reviewing the code for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Suggesting improvements, particularly in areas such as error handling and scalability.
- Recommending and potentially implementing a genuine Google search solution.
