Script to update stock prices into database

Need a script (python/jupyter) to check mySQL database for last submitted price for a unique list of stock tickers and update the database with new entries (no duplicates). Stock prices will come from Yahoo Finance. There are plenty of examples of how to get Yahoo Finance data into pandas dataframe.
