Script to convert data from notepad to Excel

I am looking for a freelancer to create a script that can convert data from a text file (.txt) into an Excel spreadsheet. The data in the text file is structured as tab-separated values.
The main requirement for the script is to ensure that the data is properly formatted in the Excel spreadsheet.
Ideal skills and experience for this project include:
- Strong knowledge of Python or a similar scripting language
- Experience working with text files and Excel spreadsheets
- Familiarity with data manipulation and formatting techniques
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate conversion of data
