Scrape Sports Betting website in Python
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Hello,
Thank you for your interest. Please only post a proposal if you have significant experience with web scraping.
We have been tasked by a client to make the 2 "last year" barstool url/prop scrapers to be updated to work just like the "new" draftkings url/prop scrapers.
This is the site to harvest from: https://barstoolsportsbook.com/
The output desired of the new barstool scrapers will be just like the CSV file attached, which is the output from the draftkings scraper today.
What the url scraper does, is harvest all game urls for football (only ncaaf and nfl) and the prop scraper will harvest game bet data - but only for bets that are in the "Game Props" tab and in the list of bets available in that tab, only "Total Points" or "Spread" or "Moneyline" bets in that tab. If there is anything else in that tab, that data is not to be harvested, just ignored.
These must be developed when live games are running. So the only opportunity left this weekend would be 10am to 10pm Los Angeles time on Sunday. ...and then Th/Fri 5-9pm LA time.
So I know you read all the way through this, please at the top of your proposal, please say "Confirmed, I can work on this scraper during that timeframe on Sunday". If you can't work during the times the games are running, then it wouldn't be possible to work on this project.
This would also require first, getting your dev env setup to run these scripts in real-time, and then send over data to me regularly for QA and stepping through your process.
Just to be sure it's understood, the draftkings scripts are not to be changed - those are only there for reference. The 2 scripts that need to be updated are the "last year" scripts for barstool.
Thanks again for your interest.
