- We are looking for a skilled developer to create a route optimization system for our delivery management needs.
- The main goal of this project is to optimize the delivery routes for our delivery team, taking into consideration the shortest distance between the delivery points.
- We do not require real-time tracking of the delivery, so the focus is solely on route optimization.
- The route should include between 10 to 20 delivery points.
- The route numbers is about 10
- The address will pull from the customer list.
- There are 10 to 20 trucks are associate with drivers.
- Each route have dedicated customers.
- Sometime one route need to splits to 2 truck.
- The regular route should be able to pre set and can be modify, add one customer stop or remove or move up and down in route plan
- Calculate milage for each route.
- Generate route plan with some space for some notes. Route plan can be review online and print out
- The route plan can be save for each date and each route. It can be treat by date and route.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in route optimization algorithms and techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
- Familiarity with mapping and geolocation APIs.
- Ability to develop a user-friendly interface for inputting delivery points and generating optimized routes.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets efficiently.
