Resolve DB connection error on a Python Code

Looking for a MySQL DB expert to resolve a DB connection error I'm getting with a python code
DB is Maria DB running on Centos 6 dedicated server and I can connect to the same DB from other app/scripts but I have no idea why the DB mostly fails when used in this Python code.
The technical error, db return is:
QueuePool limit of size 10 overflow 10 reached, connection timed out, timeout 30.00 (Background on this error at: https://sqlalche.me/e/14/3o7r)
