Regression Analysis using SPSS Work Needed/ Junior Level Work
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
ONly Junior and New Freelancer From Pakistan or India at LOW budget. I have ten consecutive years of World Development Indicators GDP figures and I need a clear, reproducible regression study that explains the main drivers of growth during that period. The raw data set is already downloaded; you may choose the format that best suits your workflow once we start (CSV, Excel, SQL—whichever lets you work fastest).
I have not locked in a single modelling approach, so please suggest and justify the specification you believe is most appropriate—linear, polynomial, time-series variants, or something else if you can defend the choice statistically. The same flexibility applies to geographic scope: feel free to run the model on the full global panel or recommend a subset if that improves insight or statistical power.
What matters to me is methodological soundness, transparent code, and an interpretation I can present to non-technical stakeholders.
Deliverables
• Cleaned and well-documented data set
• Fully commented code (Python, R, or Stata preferred)
• Regression output with diagnostics (multicollinearity, stationarity checks, residual analysis)
• A concise report summarising methodology, key coefficients, and policy-level takeaways
• Brief hand-off call or written hand-over notes explaining how to reproduce results
Acceptance criteria
– All steps can be rerun end-to-end on my machine without error
– Statistical assumptions are tested and reported
– Explanations are written in plain English, avoiding jargon where possible
