Raspberry Pi Python Code for Jukebox Selector

Job ID: 39113937

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I'm looking for a skilled Python developer to write code for my Raspberry Pi 3. I have an old jukebox selector. This works by inserting a coin, then selecting a letter and number that corresponds to a song, the keypad has lights that appear when selected. There are three separate LED lights at the top of the machine. In the original selector, the choice is passed via a cable to a jukebox that plays the music. I would like to replace the circuit board with a Raspberry pi with code that takes the information from the keypad and then plays an MP3 stored on the pi on to a bluetooth speaker.

Someone has already developed code for this task with the exact same jukebox selector that I have, but instead of using local MP3s and a Bluetooth speaker, they coded theirs to play Spotify tracks via a Sonos speaker system. The software that they used could be simplified/adapted for my purpose as some of the work regarding the coin and keypad inputs would already be done.

With the software used in that project here:

Some guidance on which pins on the pi to attach the wires to would also be appreciated.
