Quant Financial Model programmed in Excel & VBA using BQL (Bloomberg Query Language) programmed into Python

I have a quantitative financial portfolio model written in excel, VBA using BQL( Bloomberg Query language) I want to have it programmed into Python to add functionality to the program. The model is used for equity portfolio construction. All financial data will be pulled from a Bloomberg terminal using an API and in BQL into the model .
