Python-focused Fullstack Developer
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Coltek is looking for a python-oriented Fullstack Engineer. This is a 3-month probationary hire after which you can expect hourly rate and weekly hours to scale, commensurate with performance.
**What you will do**
In the day-to-day, you can expect to work on the following:
- Identifying and fixing frontend and backend bugs
- Developing new features in the frontend and backend
- Writing best-practice integration tests for new and existing featuers
- Contributing to the gradual elimination of tech debt
- Working with QA to proactively identify problems
- Drafting of tickets and epics to address business needs
- Managing infrastructure and deployments
In the next 12 months, you can expect to spend substantial time working on the following projects
- Complete website redesign (integration)
- Full migration to AWS ECS from bare metal EC2
- Establishment of robust analytics pipelines
- Migration from custom admin interface to Django-Admin
- Migration from Ansible-facilitated deployments to CircleCI-facilitated deployments
**What you have**
All candidates will undergo a 45 minute technical interview to evaluate experience in the following:
- Python - Syntax and advanced concepts
- Javascript - Syntax
- Django - Basic concepts and ORM best practices
- Docker - Basic CLI commands and conceptual understanding
- MySQL - Basic statements and conceptual understanding
- AWS - Basic services and conceptual understanding
