Python download and parse email to xls and save attachments -- 2
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
On execution, script will look for a csv configuration file.
If not available, a search GUI window will open.
Using either criteria, search will be made on o365 email account:
Log into microsoft office O365 account (with OAuth workflow).
Perform search as defined by entry in scv, or GUI.
Download search results emails [must be able to manage unlimited number of emails - by batching emails]
Save details of each email in:
1. Spreadsheet (.xlsx) columns: Message_ID, email_date, email_time, from_email_address, to_email_addresses, cc_emails, email content, number of attachments
2. Spreadsheet 2: Message_ID, email_date, email_time, Attachment_filename
3. Save Attachment files in a folder: filename: Message_ID_Date_Time_Filename
Each time script is run, new output files are created (old output files and all folders containing attachements are deleted).
The Message_ID, should be the microsoft message_ID.
Please kindly confirm price and which libraries you would use (o365/ exchangelib etc.). You must provide your own credentials to develop and test this software.
