Python debug, update from old version

I had a couple of programs that worked on an old computer with Python 3.5 which does not work with latest version of Python. Commands have been deprecated or software has changed. Project is to debug/update existing programme so that it works again with new python and generates the same report.
The programmes are about 600 lines of code, and have some other files associated "calculators" that have 1600 and 1100 lines of code.
Uses Python with openpyxl, reportlab, and PyPDF2 to take data from .xls excel file and generate a pdf report. Was working in old Python, not working now PC upgraded and Python has moved on. Essentially want someone who knows what they are doing to run the files with a debugger and update as necessary.
