Python: Wikimedia Photo Download with License Compliance
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm seeking assistance in downloading photos from Wikimedia. The images should be accompanied by the correct license information and user information. I need a python function, that accepts an url to a wikimedia image. The function must return a dict with the following information: license, username (who uploaded the image), the download-url of the full size image and the url to a thumbnail-image (200px).
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in sourcing and downloading images from Wikimedia
- Detailed understanding of Wikimedia API
- Ability to provide correct license and user information for each image
- must provide a python program
An ideal candidate for this project would have meticulous attention to detail, and experience with the Wikimedia API.
Please be aware that the obvious API-calls do not return the username of the user who uploaded the image, but the username of the user who last edited the image.
