Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Python developer to automate data retrieval and analysis for a flood and natural disaster risk assessment project. The work involves using APIs and web scraping to integrate location-specific plot data with broader geographic risk information.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Automation of Data Retrieval:
• Develop Python scripts to extract plot data from Perceelloep (or a similar platform).
• Automate the addition of map layers and JSON data extraction using Atlas Leefomgeving and Klimaateffectatlas APIs.
2. Data Processing & Analysis:
• Overlay plot-specific data with map layers for detailed risk assessments.
• Capture screenshots and organize JSON data for each location analysis.
3. Documentation & Testing:
• Create documentation and guides for script use.
• Implement unit tests and optional CI/CD pipeline for testing script functionality.
Skills Required:
• Python, API integration, web scraping
• Familiarity with GIS tools and map data
• Experience in automating data workflows
