Python Server Code for Calamp LMU Devices
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a simple, efficient Python server code tailored for Calamp LMU devices with standard firmware. The complete specifications are in the attached document. This code should be able to:
- Handle multiple devices
- Receive and process all GPS data
- Send necessary responses
- Dispatch configuration commands to modify device settings
If you're not able to deliver this in 3 days, please do not apply. We're not interested in any elaborate UI to visualize the data or anything of that nature. What we need is straightforward, clean and fully functional code that we can incorporate into our larger Python server code.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Python programming
- Familiar with Calamp LMU devices and their standard firmware
- Experience with GPS data processing
- Ability to deliver high-quality code under tight deadlines
Please note that all GPS data is to be processed and parsed according to a custom format detailed in the attached document. The code needs to be capable of sending all available configuration commands to the devices, including but not limited to changing the reporting interval, rebooting the device, and updating firmware settings.
