Python Script for Text Scraping
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a talented Python developer specialized in web scraping to create a simple Python script to login to a specific website (www.printful.com) and scrap order data from our print-on-demand store there. Here's what you need to know:
- **Project Workflow**:
-Step 1: head over to Printful's login system and ensure successful automated login (you will need to
create your own account there to test the script on your OS. We will not provide our credentrials)
-Step 2: when the login is complete, headover to order dashboard (this is done via a button)
-Step 3: for every order visible on the page, scrap the store info (where did we get this order from?
Shopify? Etsy? etc. This is displayed in the form of the store's icon but we just need the store's
name scrapped based on their icon).
-Step 4: for each order, get additional info such as order number, status on Printful (e.g. waiting to be
fulfilled, waiting to be delivered etc.), date of placement, the name of customer and the total
value of the order (amount paid). Attached is a photo from our store page to show you how the
order data is displayed. It's very simple.
- **Data Storage Requirements**:
- Collected data should be saved in a plain .txt format.
- **Ideal Freelancer Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in C# and web scraping libraries/tools.
- Proven track record of daily automated scraping tasks.
- Experience saving scraped data in various formats, specifically .txt.
- Strong understanding of cron jobs or similar scheduling for daily automation.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code.

We're looking not just for a Python script maker but also a C# developer later on to turn our script into a fully official tool that our employees can use to efficiently fetch order data from our store.
