Python Script for Raspberry Pi

Job ID: 37699665

Budget: $10 – $100 USD

I want to develop a simple media player for Raspberry Pi with the following features:

- Auto start on Raspberry OS startup in kiosk mode

- It reads Images/Videos from JSON file and download these files locally.

- Start the slideshow immediately based on the JSON file taking into consideration the delays between each image/video

- Play Time: The duration that the media will be shown on screen

- Switch Time: Ability to adjust the duration of the fade-to-black effect between media files. Choose from a range of durations, including Instantly (no visible effect) to a maximum of 0.8 seconds.

- Rotation: Ability to rotate content in 90-degree increments for proper display on portrait or landscape screen

- Ken Burns Effect for Images: Apply the Ken Burns effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Burns_effect) to all displayed images. Each image will dynamically pan and zoom, with movement randomly selected from a predefined set.

- Play Audio: Enabled/Disable audio playback. Set it disabled by default.

The libraries you choose to use should work on all Raspberry models starting from Raspberry 3 and should be fast and plays videos without any glitches.

You should have real Raspberry Pi to test your script and for other tweaks.

Feel free to review the attached JSON file. Looking forward to collaborating on this exciting endeavor!
