Python Script for European Car Monitoring
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a Python expert to create a script for me. This script should automatically scan some of the largest car websites in Europe and notify me via email or SMS when a specific model appears in the database.
Key Features:
- The script needs to filter based on several car attributes: model and mileage, price and year of production, as well as identifying new arrivals and the cheapest models.
- The specific model I'm interested in for this project is a VW ID7, below 20,000 KM and under 100,000 Euro, from the production years 2019-2022.
- The script should focus on finding the cheapest models and new arrivals.
Communication:
- I want to be notified via both email and SMS when a relevant car is found.
Technical Requirements:
- You are free to choose the best programming libraries or frameworks for this task. I do not have any specific preferences, but I trust you to use the most effective tools available.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with web scraping and data analysis.
- Familiarity with car websites and the automotive industry is a plus.
- Previous experience in developing similar monitoring scripts.
