Python Script to Read TX Data
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for someone to help me create a script using Python to read data (TX) from a Raspberry Pi via GPIO.
This project also needs to include what pins on the GPIO I need to connect my device into.
Project Details:
I have a Bill Acceptor that I need to connect to the Pi. The device uses a single cable to relay data to the host using TX.
Packet breakdown is as follows:
1 start bit
8 data bits
2 stop bits
It's setup for 300 baud.
I need the script to call to a function which I will write myself once the script finishes reading the data from the device.
I can provide the manual which provides more info on how the device communicates.
