Job Title: Python PyQt Developer for Enhancements & Bug Fixes in Time Tracking App
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Python PyQt developer to enhance our existing time tracking desktop application by adding new features and fixing bugs. The application is already functional and connected to our backend via API. Your role will involve improving functionality, refining UI/UX, and ensuring smooth performance across Windows and macOS.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the existing source code and understand the current implementation.
Add new features based on provided specifications.
Fix bugs and optimize performance.
Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs.
Improve UI/UX where necessary.
Provide clean, well-documented code.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in Python and PyQt.
Experience working with existing codebases and debugging.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs for backend communication.
Proficiency in threading and background tasks in PyQt.
Familiarity with SQLite or other lightweight databases (preferred).
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Nice to Have:
Prior experience working on time-tracking or productivity apps.
