Python UI Programming
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
This is a real-time data analysis project. It's got a relatively simple task to display the output elegantly so the user can have one glance and immediately understand the data. Currently I clumsily display the results to several DOS command windows, but I want to change it to one Windows GUI output (considering the font and size of text, and color are used in the GUI, this can look a lot better and a lot easier to comprehend for the user). This function also needs to be fast without any delay. And:
1) whenever a Python function is called again, the results are updated. If the data is longer than than the window vertically, there needs automatically be a scroll bar on the side so user can see all the data.
2) when an area on the GUI is clicked, the selected area is fed back to my Python program (criteria number, cell number, i.e. criteria 0, cell A28)
It needs to have some simple documentation so we can make simple changes ourselves. Also, please only use well accepted, stable, and secure Python libraries for this project, now and in the future.
This is a continuous development project and I will have other larger assignments for you if our cooperation goes well -- with assignment delivered timely and with quality. At this moment, I prefer to use just one independent contractor. My emphasis right now is on GUI experience, but down the road could include other areas.
Need to be able to speak English to facilitate communication.
