Python Programmer Needed for Orange Pi Zero 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a skilled programmer with experience in Python and hardware, particularly with the Orange Pi Zero 2 and Raspberry Pi. The objective of this project is to develop a code library (PI4IOE5V96248.h) that enables the use of the PI4IOE5V96248 GPIO expander as if it were a normal port of the Orange Pi Zero 2.
The deliverables for this project include:
PI4IOE5V96248 Code Library (PI4IOE5V96248.h):
Develop a code library in python that provides an interface to the PI4IOE5V96248 GPIO expander.
The library should include functions for setting GPIO pins as input or output, reading input values, and writing output values.
The library should be compatible with the Orange Pi Zero 2 and the Armbian operating system (bullseye 4.9).
GPIO Control and Testing Program:
Develop a Python program that demonstrates the functionality of the PI4IOE5V96248 GPIO expander.
The program should allow the user to control LEDs connected to the GPIO pins and read input from push buttons.
The program should provide a command-line interface where the user can specify which GPIO pins to control or read.
The program should be capable of setting GPIO pins to high or low states, reading input values, and responding accordingly.
Upon completion of the project, I will test the library and program on my Orange Pi Zero 2. The deliverables should include the source code files, along with any necessary instructions for compiling and executing the code.
If you are interested in this project, please provide details of your relevant experience, specifically in Python programming and working with hardware like the Raspberry Pi or Orange Pi Zero 2. Additionally, let me know if you are available for future projects involving more advanced functionalities, such as UART communication and Modbus protocols.
Thank you for your interest, and I look forward to reviewing your proposals and discussing the project further.
