Python + Mechatronics using ESP32 — Latin America or Eastern Europe

Job ID: 38153151

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

You must to be at least 16 years old and live in Latin America or Eastern Europe.

✻ NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ✻
You do not need any experience whatsoever; but, you must be clever and eager to learn.

No. I am *not* being charitable; rather, I am being practical.

✻ PAYING YOU TO LEARN ✻
No. You aren't dreaming.

I value intelligence and problem-solving ability over experience. I'd prefer to work with someone who is clever and learns quickly rather than someone experienced but is not very intelligent and/or does not solve problems scientifically.

Would I hire an Isaac Newton or an Albert Einstein even if he had no programming experience? Of course I would.

✻ TESTS ✻
You must pass several difficult logic tests to work with me.

The first logic test you complete for me will be an unpaid logic test. In other words, I would not pay you any money whatsoever if you were to pass the first logic test.

However, I would pay you $25 (Twenty-Five Dollars) if you were to pass the second logic test, and $50 (Fifty Dollars) if you were to pass the third logic test.

✻ OBTAINING SUPPLIES ✻
I will send you approximately $50 (Fifty Dollars) so that you can purchase ESP32 development boards, breadboards, components (such as resistors, transistors, and capacitors), wires, etc. on a site such as AliExpress, Mercado Libre, etc.

The ESP32 is similar to an Arduino.

I realize it may take you up to 30 (thirty) days to obtain these items. That's fine with me. However, I will * not * help you deal with corrupt local customs officials who require bribes to release goods.

Any “horror stories” you might have heard or read about corrupt local customs officials in your country requiring bribes to release goods probably were for items such as expensive phones and laptops, not a bunch of simple electronics components.

Put simply: I suppose a customs official looking at an iPhone 14 Pro might think, “Wow! This is an expensive phone. Yeah, this guy has money. Let me get a bribe out of him.” Whereas, if he were to look at a few ESP32 development boards which cost less than $5 (Five Dollars) each?

Meh. I doubt he’s even going to think about asking for a bribe for such items. I suppose corrupt local customs officials are greedy, not foolish.z

✻ TIME FRAME ✻
I am not in a rush. However, this project must be completed within the next 60 (sixty) days.

✻ BEING WRONG ✻
Stand in front of a mirror and practice saying, “I was wrong.”

Learn to smile when you say this. I am not joking.

I’ve worked with many engineers; only two of them were excellent engineers. Both of them said, “I was wrong” frequently. Most bad engineers I worked with refused to utter the words, “I was wrong” despite frequently being wrong.
