Python Machine Learning Examples Need to be Modified to Generate Real Predictions

I am new to machine learning and Python. I have started learning by playing with Python examples that I have found on the internet. Unfortunately, most examples do not allow you to project out N number of predictions into the future. They only account for training and testing the model. I don't understand how to write the necessary for loops for single-step and multi-step forecasting, nor do I know how to implement supervised learning. In fact, some of the examples I present to you, may already have supervised learning implemented and I simply don't recognize it. The first and main example definitely does have supervised learning implemented. I have included a set of instructions detailing my modification requests. As I am student, if you (the person doing this work) have any fully working examples that you would like to share, I would be extremely grateful.
