Python + Full Stack Developer for Cloud Lab Automation Startup
Budget: $15 – $18 USD
My company is seeking a python developer with full stack experience and C# experience.
This is for a lab automation project. The project is open core: it has a free open source version and a premium cloud based version.
Right now, this is mostly back-end work that needs to be done on both the open source and cloud version.
A lot of the code is written, but needs to be properly integrated and tested. I’m a technical founder and have written all the code, so I have a pretty good idea of the ins and outs of the code. I also have lucid charts showing how the code operates and what the plan is.
I’m hoping to find someone that is looking for up to 16hrs of work per week during the next 2-3 months. The work will include mostly coding, some meetings, and consulting with planning architecture/functionality.
A few types of deliverables include:
- Adding test coverage
- Finishing code implementations
- Websocket clients for devices
- Building out an API and adding hooks to the core code
Possible future work:
- Device drivers
- Web Front-end planning
- Web Front-end development
I’m looking for experience in the following areas:
- Python
- Django
- API
- Websockets
- gRPC
- pytest
- C#
- Typescript React (for possible future work)

A strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and extensible/manageable code will be important for this project.
