Python & FFMpeg Expert to Generate a mp4 out of PNG images on a Ubuntu

I have 15+ png files named with their timestamp. I need a Python script that will turn them in to a mp4 sequenced by their time stamps. The script will run in a Ubuntu VM hosted by Google Cloud Products. Ideally the script will use FFmpeg to compile the mp4. Access to the current script and the server will be given.
