Python - C++ - Drone - Ardupilot - Micro-Controller

Job ID: 32297383

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Needed: We're looking for someone to join our small team who is proficient in coding in Python, MicroPython, C++ or a similar micro-controller language in order to integrate an ESP32 or similar board with other hardware. Our need is to enable communication between commercial off-the-shelf hardware, firmware and software and then use Blynk, or a similar platform, to develop the machine-human interface. This is a drone (UAV, unmanned aerial vehicle) related project so a good familiarity with basic mechanics and dynamics is necessary. ArduPilot familiarity would also be advantageous, but not necessary. Multiple environmental and situational sensors will need to be integrated, so logical programming will need to be written to include these sensors and flight actuators (servo or stepper motors) into a very small vehicle. A good imagination would also be helpful. Current programming familiarity with WiFi or LoRa technology is sought.
