Python/Django Developer for permanent ongoing role (south-east asia based)
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
We have a need for the assistance of a Backend developer (with some frontend experience) to help with ongoing projects on Python, Django and Wagtail CMS driven websites.
We primarily use a React (Next.js) Front-End utilising the Django Rest Framework and Wagtail API.
What you will need to do:
- Assist the team with updates, new features and whole projects
- You will be able to assist and update the Django backend
- You will be able to assist and work with our systems and devops (ansible, jenkins, linux based servers)
- You will be able to commit all code to shared source control
- You will be able to communicate with the team and stakeholders via Slack and Zoom
- You will have crossover with Australia/Sydney time to ensure you can communicate with the team. Most of our team works +/- 3 hours of Sydney time (AEST)

We are also looking to build out our network of freelancers for more ongoing and upcoming projects. Examples of successful projects using our technologies (Python/Django, Wagtail CMS, React Native) will be considered highly.
