Python Django-AlmaLinux-MariaDB Troubleshooting

I'm urgently needing support with a problem I've encountered in my Django project where I keep seeing the error "Access denied for user 'cyberpanel'@'localhost' (using password: YES)". I don't know my Django version but my project is hosted on AlmaLinux and I'm using MariaDB as my database.
I'm connecting to MariaDB via settings.py but it's possible that this could be causing the problem. I'm unsure if I'm using a virtual environment. The error makes me unable to connect Django to MariaDB, I need help to fix and explain this to not encounter the issue again in the future.
