Python Developer needed to develop API

We are looking for a full-stack backend developer to join our small team, specifically to develop an API for the purpose of testing a unique algorithm that also involves user data. This project is part of a larger dating platform where users are recommended to each other using proprietary APIs. It will be an isolated feature reserved for administrators. We will share more information during the interview process.
This role involves working with other developers and collaborating with other members of the existing team. The application is already available in the Canadian app stores.

We are seeking someone with a combination of communication skills and experience.
More work can be expected if the initial tasks are delivered successfully and on time.


Skills required
Database creation, integration, and management
Define and create web services API
Develop, test, integrate, and deploy backend stack
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Experience with Python/Django, Postgresql
Experience with software development tools (Git)
Backing up and restoring technologies for a website’s files and DB
Who speaks and understands English or French proficiently. Available in EST time zone

Timeframes: 2 weeks after the brief.
