Python Developer for Stats System

I need an experienced Python developer to build a statistical data generator that processes loan data. The system will:

Calculate descriptive statistics (mean, median, mode) from loan datasets
Export results to Excel (.xls) files with clean formatting
Connect to an API to send processed data to an external database

Key Requirements:
Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy for data processing)
Solid understanding of statistical calculations (descriptive stats)
Experience generating Excel files programmatically (openpyxl/xlsxwriter)
Ability to integrate with REST APIs (requests/httpx) for data transmission
Attention to detail for data accuracy and reporting

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with financial/loan data concepts
Knowledge of databases (SQL, data schemas)
Experience with automated testing (pytest)

Deliverables:
A Python script/module that:
Takes loan data as input
Computes mean, median, and mode
Generates well-formatted Excel reports
Connects to the specified API endpoint
Documentation for setup and usage
