Job Title: Python Developer – AI-Powered Interview & Resume Platform
? About the Project
We’re building an innovative AI-powered mock interview platform that helps users improve their job readiness through intelligent resume parsing, mock interviews conducted by AI avatars, and instant feedback. The platform includes user dashboards, an admin panel, interview session logic, and resume analysis tools.
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer who has prior experience in building AI-integrated web applications and a solid understanding of backend systems, resume parsing, NLP, and interview automation flows.
?? Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Python (preferably Django or FastAPI)
Implement resume parsing logic using AI/ML or NLP libraries like spaCy, NLTK, PyPDF2, docx, etc.
Integrate AI systems for:
Resume Skill Extraction
Job History Parsing
Red Flag Detection
Feedback Scoring (e.g., STAR Method, Industry Keywords)
Build and schedule AI-led mock interviews using speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) APIs like Google Cloud Speech, Amazon Polly, or Azure TTS
Manage email workflows for OTP, scheduling confirmations, and feedback notifications
Design and implement secure user authentication & authorization (JWT or OAuth-based)
Set up and manage CV storage, parsed data linking, and interview session history
Build admin-side dashboards for user/interview management, feedback control, and reporting
Handle idle timeouts, session auto-close logic, and question generation flows
Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance optimization
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and AI engineers
? Must-Have Skills
3–5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
Strong knowledge of Django / FastAPI / Flask
Experience with resume parsing / document processing (PDF, DOCX)
Familiar with Natural Language Processing (NLP) libraries: spaCy, NLTK, Transformers
Experience integrating speech APIs (TTS/STT)
Solid understanding of REST API architecture
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase preferred)
Hands-on with authentication flows (Login, Signup, Forgot Password, OTPs)
Experience with email services (SendGrid, SMTP, AWS SES, etc.)
Familiarity with scheduling systems (e.g., Celery, Cron Jobs)
Ability to work with AI-generated content evaluation logic
? Nice-to-Have (Bonus)
Experience working with AI avatars or video generation
Familiarity with WebRTC / video interview logic
Basic experience with React / frontend integration
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Understanding of gamified systems (e.g., scoring logic: "Hired", "Almost There", "Fired")
