Python Developer for Heating System Simulation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a freelance Python developer who can take the code my client has written and make it into a working simulation system for heating and hot water systems in a multi-family building. The code simulates a heating and hot water consumption system where a heat pump, an accumulator tank, a hot water circulation system (VVC), and a district heating exchanger interact.
Your task will be to:
* Make the existing code executable and adjust it so that it works correctly based on the accompanying system description.
* Ensure that all calculations for energy flows, temperatures, and flows work as expected and align with how the system functions in practice.
System Description (Overview):
* Heat Pump: Produces both hot water and heating, controlled by a curve based on outdoor temperature. The heat pump alternates between heating and hot water with a 30-minute cycle for each.
* Accumulator Tank: Stores hot water from both the heat pump and the district heating exchanger.
District Heating Exchanger: Used as a backup when the heat pump cannot meet heating/hot water demands.
* VVC System: Circulates hot water to the apartments to minimize the wait time for hot water availability.
* Radiators and Underfloor Heating: Separate circuits for heating radiators and underfloor heating loops.
Measurements and Energy Flows to Include:
* Electricity consumption for the heat pump and calculation of COP (Coefficient of Performance).
* Energy to and from the accumulator tank, district heating exchanger, underfloor heating, radiators, and VVC system.
* Temperature and flow measurements integrated to calculate energy consumption and losses.
* Attachment:
The Python code and system description are attached for the developer's reference.
Note:
The code is likely incomplete and may contain errors, so your task is to debug and ensure it functions as the system is intended to
