Python Developer for Decryption & Web Scraping
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 CAD
I'm looking for a Python developer that has a diverse skill set including the ability to decrypt a payload that will run web scrapers for the Ontario Licensing Road Test Appointments data. Specifically, you will:
* Decrypt a payload and provide the results in a text file format.
* Extract from the schedule: appointment dates and times and specific location details.
You should have:
* Extensive experience with Python, particularly with web scraping, and data decryption.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
Please note, there's no need for details regarding appointment duration, availability status, or instructor. The focus remains on dates, times and location information from the appointment schedule.

As driving instructors, part of our job is to help students book appointments. Being able to swap appointments between students is an ability that is pivotal to our business. We can help students obtain appointments within days.
Prior to covid, we were able to cancel an appointment from a student's license, then immediately book the appointment with another student's license, however they put a stop to that.
Drivetest has since changed the system so that when an appointment is cancelled, it doesn't appear on the UI immediately, it will take either 2, 3, 4, or up to 8 hours for the appointment to re-appear on the UI for booking.
Stage 1
What I'm looking for is likely a web scrapping program, that allows me to see the recently cancelled appointments underneath the UI, I suspect they put an extra line code on the appointment object, so once a appointment is cancelled, it doesn't appear on the UI immediately, instead to appear after a random amount of hours has passed by. The program must also allow me to book the appointment with a license of my choice.
I know at least 3 people with such program, they are able to see any appointments that was just cancelled, and use a driver license to book the appointment immediately. One of them even commented that it was easy to figure out how to do this, and Drivetest can put a stop to it easily if they wished to.
Stage 2
After stage 1 is completed, I want a bot that gathers data on appointments that are available within a specified range of date, time, and drive test location, for either G2 or G.
For example, I want to book a G appointment at Guelph drive test center on Monday March 3rd 2024, between 8am and 12pm, the bot should be able to continuously scrape the data, and notify me when such an appointment is open, then I will book the appointment with the program.
The product can be delivered immediately once state 1 is completed, and stage 2 to be done after.
