Python Developer for Competitor Price Monitoring and Shopify Integration
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We are looking for an experienced Python developer to create a semi-automated pricing application for our Shopify store. The application should initially allow for manual entry of competitor URLs, monitor these URLs for price changes, and update our product prices on Shopify accordingly. We aim to expand this into a fully automated system in the future.
Responsibilities:
Develop web scraping tools to monitor competitor prices from specified URLs.
Store and analyze scraped data to compare competitor prices with our own.
Implement an algorithm to adjust our prices based on competitor data.
Integrate the application with Shopify's API to update product prices automatically.
Provide documentation and support for the initial setup and future expansion.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python, with experience in web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium).
Strong skills in data analysis using Pandas and NumPy.
Experience with Shopify API integration.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
