Job ID: 39182727

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Freelance Developer Posting – Implementation & Configuration of Backend Automation System
Job Title: Experienced Python Developer for System Implementation & Configuration

Location: Remote (Must be available during PST business hours – Los Angeles, CA)

Start Date: Immediate – Monday morning

Project Duration: Short-term (Estimated 2-5 days, potentially longer based on needs)

Project Overview:
We have already developed a significant portion of our backend automation system, but we need an experienced developer to assist with the implementation, configuration, and testing of the solution. Since much of the core code has already been written and tested, the primary focus will be system setup, integration, and minor adjustments rather than extensive new development.

This system is designed to handle work order processing between Flask (API Layer), Celery (Task Queue), Redis (Queue Management), and Chuzo (API-based Work Order Management System). Your role will be to configure these components, ensure proper functionality, troubleshoot where necessary, and help finalize the automation pipeline.

Scope of Work:
Configure and deploy Flask, Celery, and Redis on AWS, ensuring all components communicate effectively.
Integrate with Chuzo API, replacing our previous ServiceFusion implementation while ensuring all endpoints are functioning correctly.
Validate and test existing Python scripts to confirm proper execution within the new system.
Adjust minor aspects of the codebase where necessary to ensure compatibility with the updated infrastructure.
Implement and test error logging & monitoring, ensuring visibility into system failures and retry mechanisms.
Assist in system optimization, ensuring efficient task execution and workload balancing.
Provide documentation & walkthroughs, ensuring internal team members can manage and maintain the system after implementation.
Technical Requirements:
To successfully complete this project, you must have experience with the following technologies and frameworks:

Python (Advanced): Experience in Flask, Celery, and asynchronous processing.
Flask (API Development): Ability to deploy, test, and troubleshoot a Flask-based API layer.
Celery (Task Queue): Understanding of distributed task execution, worker management, and concurrency handling.
Redis (Queue Management & Task Broker): Experience setting up Redis for Celery and handling job prioritization.
AWS (Hosting & Infrastructure): Ability to deploy Flask/Celery/Redis on AWS, configure security settings, and optimize for efficiency.
API Integration (Chuzo API, Postman Testing): Experience working with external APIs, authentication, and handling request/response cycles.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Experience with log analysis, tracing errors, and optimizing Python scripts for production.
System Testing & Validation: Ability to methodically test existing code and ensure seamless execution of automated tasks.
Expectations:
Availability: You must be available during PST (Los Angeles) business hours, as we will need real-time collaboration.
Hands-on Implementation: This is not a project for AI-generated or auto-bid freelancers. I expect you to read through this scope carefully before bidding and be prepared to execute the work immediately.
Attention to Detail: Since much of the system has already been developed, we need precision in setup, testing, and minor refinements rather than major new development.
Proactive Communication: Regular updates, check-ins, and feedback loops are expected throughout implementation.
How to Apply:
If you are experienced, available, and ready to start tomorrow, please include the following in your proposal:

Your relevant experience with Flask, Celery, Redis, AWS, and API integrations.
A brief overview of similar implementation projects you’ve worked on.
Confirmation of your availability to work during PST business hours.
Your estimated timeline for completing the core setup and testing phases.
Applications that clearly address these points will be prioritized. Auto-bids will be ignored.

Looking forward to working with someone who can efficiently implement and finalize this system!
