Python Dev For Nail Extraction

We are seeking a skilled Python developer with expertise in computer vision and image processing to help us extract individual acrylic nail designs from images of hands.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop a Python-based solution to:
•Segment the hand from the background in nail images.
•Identify and extract individual nails from the hand.
•Ensure accurate nail detection and cropping for further processing.
2.Use libraries like OpenCV, Mediapipe, or deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) to achieve high accuracy in segmentation.
3.Optimize the solution to handle diverse image conditions (lighting, hand positioning, etc.).
4.Provide clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
Requirements:
•Strong proficiency in Python.
•Experience with image processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PIL, scikit-image).
•Familiarity with computer vision and segmentation techniques.
•Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) for advanced tasks, if necessary.
•Understanding of pre-trained models for object/hand detection (e.g., Mediapipe, Mask R-CNN).
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in hand or nail detection projects.
•Knowledge of working with segmentation models like U-Net or Mask R-CNN.
Deliverables:
• A Python script/tool that:
• Accepts images of hands as input.
• Extracts and saves each nail as a separate image with precise segmentation.
• Basic documentation and instructions for using the script.
• Recommendations for improving or scaling the solution, if applicable.
