Python Code: Extract Total Emails from Exchange Server
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
I'm looking for a Python expert who can craft code that connects seamlessly to my Microsoft Exchange email server. This server is hosted by GoDaddy. Your main task will be to extract the entire database into a format such as CSV or PandasTable, this includes the unique email ID, sender address, body and attachment info etc. All data that is housed in the server database.
Here are the key points for the project:
- The code needs to be compatible with Microsoft Exchange email servers, specifically 2010, 2013, or 2016.
- Successful applicants should include relevant past work in their application. Previous experience in working with Microsoft Exchange servers is a plus.
- While the primary objective is to extract the data into a format that can be used such as a CSV or Pandas table, the code should do a preliminary count to determine the total number of emails in the exchange server including in all sub folders to ensure that there are not too many emails for a PandasTable to handle and also for general information so that the user is aware of the total number of emails.
-Once this code is working, there is future work available to get this code to run on a server (not locally) so that further queries can be run on the Pandas Table that is created without relying on a local machine.
In summary, I'm seeking a Python developer with a strong understanding of Microsoft Exchange servers to deliver a code that's efficient, reliable, and capable of handling a significant volume of emails. Your ability to extract the database into a user-friendly format will be highly valued.
