Python-Based GUI Tool for Wireless/USB BGMI Streaming via OBS Studio with Desktop Audio Integration
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’ve developed a Python-based GUI tool using scrcpy v3.2 and sndcpy, designed for streaming BGMI gameplay from my Samsung S24 Ultra (120FPS) to OBS Studio. The core functionality includes screen mirroring and optional audio forwarding.
However, I now want to enhance the setup for a more professional and seamless streaming experience, with the following specific goals and requirements:
Goals:
OBS Studio Integration:
Stream BGMI gameplay via OBS using scrcpy (USB and Wireless).
Support 120 FPS (if possible within scrcpy or other mirroring methods).
Audio Management:
Use my PC's input/output devices for in-game audio and mic (even though the game runs on the phone).
Record gameplay audio and mic from PC, even when using wireless mode.
If needed, develop an Android app to forward audio from the device to PC without root (e.g., using AudioRecord or AAudio).
Recording & Streaming:
Record gameplay on the PC via OBS.
Ensure low latency and high-quality output, both via USB and Wi-Fi (for wireless flexibility).
Control and Performance:
GUI should support toggling between USB and Wireless mode.
Auto-detect device (Samsung S24 Ultra) when connected.
Efficient resource management for smooth streaming without lag.
Device & System Specs:
Phone: Samsung S24 Ultra, Android 14 (upgradable to Android 15), non-rooted, 120FPS supported
PC Specs:
Intel i7-7700K
16 GB RAM
Zotac GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition
Internet Speed: 300 Mbps (Stable Fiber)
Game: BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India)
Package Name: com.pubg.imobile
Additional Notes:
BGMI Version 3.7.0 requires several permissions like:
Microphone access (record_audio)
Storage access
Network and Bluetooth control
Foreground services for mic and data sync
My device is not rooted, so all solutions must be rootless and ideally use official Android APIs or workarounds.
Deliverables:
Finalized Python GUI tool with:
One-click screen + audio mirroring
USB & Wireless support
Desktop audio routing for in-game sounds and mic
(Optional but preferred) A companion Android app to handle audio forwarding
Documentation or video walkthrough for setup and usage
