Python Audio Stream Parser for Song Extraction
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking for a Python developer who can create a program that can analyze a single large (1-3hr) MP3 files containing multiple songs, speech, advertisements, and other noise. Script should use open-source libraries to parse the stream file, identify each song, and extract them as an MP3 (TITLE_ARTIST_TRACK#.MP3) into a given or default directory. Original stream should be retained as well. Identification can be used via online-type database library (e.g. Shazam python wrapper), and rename extracted song.
Script should be CLI-based, and have option to use flags to change default input stream file name, stream length & target output locations. Program output focus should be on complete songs, with little or no silence, stuttering, or crossfade/overlap between others. Code format should be reader-friendly, with components broken down into discrete functions; Class use OK.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with audio processing and parsing
- Knowledge of audio file formats and conversion
- Familiarity with MP3 encoding, tagging, and extraction processes
The extracted songs will need to be in MP3 format. If you have the skills and experience needed for this project, I look forward to seeing your bid.
