Python App Development using DepthAI
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
We require a Python Developer who has experience of building applications. They will be implementing DepthAI-Python into a pre-existing designed GUI built in Glade.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Python including GUI (built in Glide)
- Experience using Github and Visual Studio Code
- Experience working with AI/ML and/or Computer Vision
IMPLEMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
You will be required to implement DepthAI-Python into a pre-existing GUI that has been designed in Glade. Please study the documentation at https://docs.luxonis.com/projects/api/en/latest/ prior to pitching for this project.
You will be required to implement the following:
- all primary features available in DepthAI-Python connected to GUI
- new functionality derived from utility of specific functions in combination
- to be discussed after signing of NDA and IP Assignment agreements
Due to other previous developers commissioned via this platform not delivering on requirements and still taking payment I will be more intently pre-vetting applicants before discussion of the project. Please ensure to study all documentation on implementation of Depth-AI (https://docs.luxonis.com/projects/api/en/latest/ - https://github.com/luxonis/depthai-experiments) as you will be questioned on this prior to project starting.
STAGES TO DEVELOPMENT
- Developers bid on project here on Freelancer
- Developers will be vetted based on their ability to complete project
- Short-listed developers will be interviewed via Teams and questioned on their anticipated methodology for implementing DepthAI-Python
- Selected developer will sign a digital NDA and IP Assignment Agreement
- Selected developer will then receive the first Milestone Payment (Deposit)
- Selected developer will then implement DepthAI-Python functions into pre-existing GUI
- Selected developer will then receive Milestone Payment 2
- Selected developer will then implement a new functionality derived from the utility of specific functions of DepthAI-Python used in a new combination
- Selected developer will then receive Milestone Payment 3
- App delivered to client (me) for function and bug testing
- Selected developer will then receive final payment, Milestone Payment 4
- Works are signed off as complete
- Client (me) provides positive review and feedback
POST-PROJECT SUPPORT
The selected developer will provide technical support/bugfixing directly related to the initial launch of the post-development sign-off app, for a period of no longer than 3 months. After that period the selected developer and client will move to an agreed support or updates package featuring ad hoc invoicing and payment.
REMUNUERATION
The selected developer will receive £20 per hour. Creative, talented and conscientious individuals will receive access to a 1% Share Options Pool whereupon they will potentially receive equity on-top of their earnings as an additional reward for professional delivery, which will also provide the opportunity for more work from this project.
