PyQt6 GUI Integration & Stability button functionality
Budget: $250 – $450 USD
The back-end is finished and the current PyQt6 interface already contains every screen, widget and option I need. What’s missing is rock-solid stability and the seamless merge of two separate data feeds into that existing front end.
Here is the situation
• I can provide the full code base plus notes on the two independent data sources.
• Freezes occur during long-running sessions and the window sometimes refuses to shut down. I have already checked for obvious coding errors, so the next step is a deeper event-loop / thread review.
• Some buttons intermittently stop responding; the look and feel, however, must stay exactly as it is.
What I need from you (1–2-day turnaround expected)
1. Integrate both data sources so the information flows in real time without blocking the UI.
2. Eliminate freezes and guarantee a clean, reliable shutdown.
3. Make every existing button consistently responsive.
4. Supply the updated, well-commented code so I can run immediate tests in a live environment.
Acceptance will be based on a stress test (no freeze for three continuous hours), full button functionality, and matching the current GUI layout pixel for pixel.
Payment schedule
• 40 % released once the first milestone meets the above expectations and I have reviewed the code.
• Remaining balance released only after successful live-environment testing.
