Project Description: Data Analysis and Backtesting for Stock Data using Python and backtesting.py
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and backtesting.py
- Knowledge of stock market data and financial concepts
- Ability to work with stock data from Yahoo Finance
Project Overview:
I am looking for a skilled Python developer to assist me with a project involving data analysis and backtesting for stock data. The main goal of this project is to analyze historical stock data and develop and test trading algorithms.
Data Source:
The stock data will be sourced from Yahoo Finance. Familiarity with working with this data source is preferred.
Project:
A project with TAlib and two exponential moving averages (25 and 50 for example) which intersect:
Purchase the next day if crossing upwards
with immediate resale the next day upon opening.
