Project-Based Python and Web Developer (Django)

We are a behaviour change and social marketing company company focused on delivering cutting-edge applications and platforms to our clients. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Python Web Developer with Django experience for an initial single-project role, with the possibility of working on additional projects in the future.
Job Description: We are in search of a talented Python Developer to work on a part-time basis (3 days per week) over a period of 2 to 3 months, developing a jobs/recruitment portal. The platform aims to connect individuals with specific backgrounds to suitable job opportunities based on matching criteria. This project is the first phase in a planned multi-phase development.
In this role, you will collaborate with a senior architect who will review your code as it is committed to a code repository. Our team has already outlined the system's architecture, and you will be responsible for bringing it to life.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop high-quality, efficient code using Python, Django, MySQL, HTML, CSS/SASS and Bootstrap 5
· Collaborate with the senior architect to ensure code quality and consistency
· Adhere to established coding standards and best practices
· Proactively communicate progress, issues, and solutions with the project team
· Meet project deadlines and deliverables
Required Skills and Experience:
· Proficiency in Python programming language
· Strong experience with Django web framework
Ability to design templates and layouts using clean HTML and Bootstrap 5
· Familiarity with MySQL database systems
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends
